Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Physical Protection

PPF is the strongest product on the market to protect your paint from physical damage like rock chips, scratches, and scuffs.

UV Protection

Paint Protection Film also protects your paint from UV damage such as fading and sun spots, keeping it looking brand new.

Hydrophobic

A lot of newer films now offer a built in layer of ceramic coat that propels water, making cleaning easier.

Finish Change

Not only will PPF protect your original paint but now it can change its finish! Turn gloss to matte and vice versa!

The Process of Installing PPF

When applying Paint Protection Film to your vehicle, we put our trust in SunTek once again. SunTek offers two main options, PPF Ultra and PPF Reaction. Ultra is your standard 8mm thick clear film that does everything PPF is advertised to do including offering self healing properties. With a little heat, PPF can reverse some damage and restore itself to its original form. SunTek’s Reaction offers the same protection but comes with a high gloss and ceramic coat finish. The ultra also comes in a matte option, giving your gloss paint a stealth finish.

We offer two types of PPF installation, bulk and template. The most common and cheapest way to apply PPF is to use a template that we cut out of our program using a plotter. This allows for an almost perfect fit to the majority of the vehicle and allows us to pre-cut sensors and cut-outs, resulting in less cutting on the vehicle itself. The templates usually end on the edge of the paint but they can also be wrapped and tucked if the customer wants it. When we apply in bulk, we simply take a single piece of PPF and install it and wrap the edges, trimming off any extra material in the process. Time, money, and what you as the customer wants will help you decide which option is best for you.
