Computer Cut Tint with
a Lifetime Warranty

For over 15 years, SunTek has been the trusted house brand of film at Car Pretty. We offer 3 selections of film type, with the VLT (visible light transmission) or "shade" ranging from 5% to 90%.

All film types offer 99% UV protection. All film types offer privacy, heat reduction, and glare reduction (total amount based on percentage and film quality).

High-Performance

Our standard film which is a hybrid metal-dyed reflective film that offers great privacy and basic heat protection and glare reduction.

Carbon CXP

A step up from High Performance, this non-reflective film offers more heat protection and glare reduction while providing privacy with a truer black finish.

Ceramic CIR Series

This high clarity, non-reflective film offers the best protection from the heat, blocking out UV and IR rays while using nano-ceramic technology to reject as much heat as possible.

Windshield Tint

SunTek Cool-Sight 90% is the clearest film we offer, which is used strictly for UV and heat protection for front windshields. 70% Ceramic tint is also a perfect clear film for front windshields.

Things to Know Before Installing Window Tint

5% is Dark...Trust Us

Whether it's High-Performance or Ceramic, 5% is still very difficult to see out of for the majority of drivers, especially at night or in the rain. A reason for this is because 5% film is the thickest film which causes more interior reflection.

Water Bubbles VS. Dirt

Window tint takes time to dry and water bubbles can last up to a week after installation. Any bubbles that last longer than a week could be contamination, which we cover under warranty.

Life Expectancy of Window Tint

The life expectancy of premium brands of tint averages 8 to 10 years, cheaper tint being far less. After this the tint could start to fade and breakdown from UV damage. All of this is covered by our lifetime warranty.

Factory Tint Doesn't Provide UV or Heat Protection

Most SUV's and Pick-Up trucks come with factory tinted glass on the back half of the vehicle. Though this provides privacy, it lacks in UV and heat protection. No worries, we can fix that!

How to Choose a Shade

The first thing to consider is how much privacy you want. Next should be how dark is too dark for you to drive with. Things to consider are your vision quality, night time lighting where you live or work and what you feel is safe.

The Film Needs Time to Dry

We recommend leaving the windows rolled up for 2-3 days while the film cures. It may take a week, depending on conditions, for the film to fully dry. Water bubbles are expected in the first week.

The Benefits of Windshield Tint

When you hear about someone tinting their front windshield, you probably think of a blacked out car that offers no visibility inside. In today’s world of window tinting, that is far from the case.

Using ceramic tint, we offer two selections of clear film, SunTek’s Ceramic CIR 70% and SunTek’s Cool-Sight 90%. What these films lack in privacy they make up for in UV, IR, and heat protection while offering limited glare reduction. This is a safe and effective way to protect yourself and your vehicle’s interior and dash.

We also offer windshield tint in High-Performance and Carbon CXP but we do not tint windshields below 30%.

***DISCLAIMER*** Vehicles in PA, NJ, and DE will not pass state inspection with windshield tint.

Headlight and Taillight Tinting

Along with window tint, another option you may consider is tinting your headlight or taillights. One reason for doing this is simply aesthetics, making the lights match or blend with the color of the vehicle better. Another reason is that a lot of the newer vehicles on the road have bright LED lights that can be too much for some drivers.

We offer light, medium, and dark tint in either a gloss or matte finish. We stricktly use Luxe Automotive light film, the strongest, nicest and most advanced light film on the market. Check out their website luxeautoconcepts.net for examples and pre-cut packages!

Frequently Asked Questions

Window tinting is a growing and more accepted business with each passing year. Each state has their own laws but these outdated laws are becoming more lax, especially in major cities. Check the chart below for a detailed list.

Ceramic tint is simply the best quality of film on the market. Ceramic films allow for the use of clear tint while still getting heat and UV protection. Even though the visibility is better for the driver, darker shades can still be too dark at night for some.

Although we heat shrink the film on the outside of the vehicle, the film is applied on the inside of the glass.
The average time to tint a vehicle is roughly 30 minutes for two windows and one hour for a full vehicle (windshield not included). The front windshield takes about 90 minutes to tint on its own.
As long as the vehicle is parked outside in direct sunlight, it will heat up. The better the quality and darker the shade will result in more heat protection. Window tint will also allow the cabin to cool quicker once the A/C is turned on.

Our lifetime warranty covers peeling, fading, bubbling, splitting or discoloration. It also covers any imperfections from the installation process. Our tint is expected to last eight to ten years after installation.
