All About Car Window Tinting, Q&A Style

All About Car Window Tinting, Q&A Style

We’ve heard your questions loud and clear, and we’ve come equipped with answers!

Here’s a sweet and simple Q&A on everything you might want to know about car window tinting.

Q: What exactly is a car window tint?

A: Window tints are essentially a thin film placed on the inside of car windows to block out the sun and provide some extra privacy.

Q: What’s the benefit of getting my car windows tinted?

A: Window tints block up to 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. This protects both your skin and your car’s interior. Window tints also help with temperature regulation, sun glare, privacy, and shatter protection.

Q: How do I know which tint is right for me?

A: When it comes to choosing a window tint, the most important factor is knowing what’s allowed in your state. There are both federal and state regulations for window tints, but they mostly revolve around tint percentage, which equates to the darkness of the tints.

Q: How long do car tints last?

A: It’s hard to say without knowing the exact specifications of the tint material, the installation process, the upkeep, and the general wear and tear. However, a good set of tints should last you years, with the average time being up to 5 years.

Q: How long does window tinting take?

A: Not long. Window tinting is simply a matter of cutting the film to fit your window shapes and then adhering the film to the inside of your car windows. The timing also depends on how many windows you’re getting tinted. If it’s just one window, you can probably wait right there to have it done. But if you’re going to have your whole car tinted, you’ll most likely want to leave the car with the installer and come back in a few hours.

Q: Do I have to do anything after the tints are installed?

A: Generally, it takes up to a week for tints to fully cure. However, the only thing you really need to do is be gentle with them and don’t try to clean them for the first week or so. And, when you do choose to clean your windows, don’t use anything sharp or chemically harsh.

Q: Where can I get my windows tinted?

A: While there are tons of DIY tutorials out there, we highly recommend having your windows tinted by a professional tint installer. Professional tint installers know all the little tips and tricks on getting tints to last longer and look neater. Search online for someone reputable and with good reviews in your local area.

Q: How much do window tints cost?

A: Again, this is hard to say without knowing the exact tint type and the size of the car. But, what we will say is that many installers offer a package deal or discount if you get more than one window tinted. So be sure to ask.

Q: What if my window tints break?

A: Before you buy your window tints, it’s important to ask if they come with a warranty. Most good quality tints do come with one, but better safe than sorry. In the event that your tints break or peel, just bring your car over to your local installer for a quick fix.

How Long Do Car Window Tints Really Last?

How Long Do Car Window Tints Really Last?

Window tinting is getting a lot of attention now a days. However, before consumers are ready to buy into the trend and buy their first set of window tints, customers want to know the truth: how long do car window tints actually last?

Just like with anything on the market, the true value of a product is equivalent to its cost and quality ratio. And, in this case, the life span of car window tints makes a huge impact on that ratio. So, we’re here to debunk the mystery around window tinting, and to uncover how we can get the longest life span out of our tints.

Let’s dive right in.

How long do window tints last?

There are a few contributing factors when it comes to the life span of window tints: the tint material, the installation, and the upkeep.

Here’s a closer look:

  1. Tint Material

Window tints come in all different materials, some higher quality and some lower quality. Lower end materials like basic color or hybrids will last roughly around 5 years. While higher end materials like ceramic and metal should last you up to 10 years. So, the type of tint you choose for your car windows really makes a difference in its life span.

  1. Installation

How well your window tints are installed, also plays a huge role in how long the tints will last. Even the best of the best tints won’t last through a rough winter if they’re not installed correctly. Window tints need to be precisely cut and strongly secured to the inside of your window in order to maximize their effectiveness.

  1. Upkeep

There’s not much upkeep that comes with window tinting. But, there are a few do’s and don’ts that can affect how long your tints last. For instance, using soft materials to clean your tints will help them last longer, while using razors or hard chemicals may wear out the tint coating faster. Essentially, if you’re careful with your tints, you’ll aid in their lifespan. And, if you’re rough with your tints, well, they might decay a bit faster.

How can you make your window tints last longer?

With the above-mentioned factors in mind, there are a few things you can do to help your tints last longer.

Choose a professional window tint installer. Buyers often try to go the less expensive route with DIY kits. However, when it comes to window tinting, paying the extra cost to have a professional install your window tints can save you a small fortune down the road.

Don’t use harsh chemicals on your tints. No matter the stain, do no use harsh cleaning solutions on your window tints. This will simply weaken the tint film, exposing it to further harm. Instead, use soap and water, and a soft microfiber cloth. And, if that still doesn’t work, talk to your installer about alternative solutions.

Get a warranty. When you buy your window tints from a professional, there should be some option for a warranty. This may be from the factory, from the installer, or a separate plan you pay for. Whatever the case, a warranty should last you up to 5 years, helping you keep your window tints for longer.

Which Car Window Tint is Right for You

Which Car Window Tint is Right for You

Tinting your car windows is a great way to protect your car and protect yourself while driving.

With window tinting on the rise, there’s a plethora of different types of tints you can choose from. And, if you’re going to tint your car, you may as well do it right the first time around.

That means picking the right type of tint for you.

Here are 5 different types of window tints, and the pros and cons of each:

  1. Color Window Tint

Colored window tints are the cheapest and simplest of the tints. Colored tints protect your car from the sun, as well as enhance the privacy of your vehicle. This option is perfect for those in need of a quick and easy tint that blocks solar rays from entering the car and passerby’s from seeing in.

The tradeoff? You get what you pay for.

When it comes to car tints, there are better heat reducing tints available on the market than the basic color tint.

  1. Metal Window Tint

Metalized window tinting is a good option to go with if heat reduction is what matters most to you. The films in metalized window tints not only reflect sunlight, they also obstruct the sun’s rays using small metal particles from within the film itself. Not to mention, these tints increase the windows’ strength as well, raising their shatter resistance and scratch resistance levels.

  1. Crossbreed Window Tint

Crossbreed window tinting is essentially a combination of colored tinting and metalized tinting. The result is a film with a bit of the advantages of both tints. It has some color, it has some reflection, but not as much color as a color window tint, and not as much reflection as a metallized window tint.

Crossbreed window tinting will provide strong protection from UV rays and solar heat.

  1. Carbon Tint

Carbon tinting uses a very different tinting technique that results in a matte-finish to block forty percent of infrared radiation. This means more heat blocked from going inside your car.

Carbon film is especially resilient and long-lasting too.

  1. Ceramic Tint

One of the highest quality tints you can go with is ceramic. These tints block ten percent more heat than even carbon tinting. Ceramic tints are efficient and provide additional protection to digital devices in the interior that other tints sometimes fail to provide. These modern tints are on the more expensive side, but their benefits pay for themselves.

A note on window tint installation…

Although this article puts an emphasis on the different materials when choosing a window tint, that’s not the only important factor.

Because, what all of these tints have in common is that their benefits may not live up to their true potential if purchased and installed from a low-quality tint installer.

Window tints from a reputable mechanic can make a difference of years when it comes to prolonged endurance, more than making up for the price of a professional installer.

So, if you take away anything from this article, it’s to get your windows tinted with a professional installer such as us, Car Pretty Window Tinting no matter the tint material.

Pre-Spring Car Maintenance Check

As the ice melts and the sun shines stronger, it’s important to take the time to properly maintain your car.

Just like anything in this world, cars need to be looked after and cared for. Or, you end up with a headache of emergency fixes later on.  If you want your car to last longer, get your car ready for spring with these 8 steps.

Think of it as a checklist!

  1. Have your oil checked.

This is really something you should do on the regular. But, if you haven’t had the chance recently- check your oil now. A low oil tank can really harm a car. Not to mention, leave you stranded on the highway with no way out but AAA. Don’t let that happen, and go for an oil change in time for the nice spring weather.

  1. Check your tire pressure.

Similarly, low tire pressure is never something to let sit. Whether your car’s tire pressure light has been flashing or not, it’s always smart to check your tires before you start on your springtime road trips. Many car mechanics or gas stations will do a free tire pressure check. But if not, the cost is extremely minimal.

  1. Get your windows tinted.

Before it gets too sunny, get your windows tinted to protect both you and your car. Tinted windows help you drive saver by diminishing the sun’s glare. Additionally, tinted windows protect your skin and car furnishing from otherwise harmful UV rays.

  1. Buy a remote car starter.

It’s never too late to buy a remote car starter. Remote car starters allow you to unlock your car and get the AC going, so you never have to stand out in the heat fumbling for keys. Some remote starters even come with GPS capabilities, which let you track your car in case of a break-in.

  1. Clean your car.

Wash it down on the outside, and vacuum it on the inside. Winter is a long season. So, debris tends to accumulate both outside and inside the car. Start the spring season fresh with a fresh feeling car.

  1. Spruce up the paint.

If you have any scratches on your car, now is the time to fill them in. Some marks you can touch-up yourself if you have the right tools. Otherwise, take your car in to your local mechanic for a full paint fix up. It’s best to have the paint fixed now while the snow is off the car, but before the pollen starts to settle.

  1. Work out the kinks.

Now is also a great time to finally get to all the small things in your car that need tending to. Things like: cracks in the mirrors, a broken radio, ripped up upholstery, etc.

  1. Be sure the AC is working.

The last thing you want is for the spring and summer heat to hit and your AC is broken. Things often have a way of breaking when they aren’t being used. After a long winter of only using the heat, check that your car’s air conditioning is working properly with no leaks or rumblings.

7 Great Benefits of Getting a Remote Starter

7 Great Benefits of Getting a Remote Starter

Remote car starters are all the rage now. Not only do many cars come with their own remote starters, but many car mechanics actually sell other, more technologically advanced ones too. Which begs the question to be asked: is this just a fad soon to leave the markets? Or, are remote car starters something actually worth investing in?

Here are 7 pros of buying a remote car starter:

  1. You can heat your car in advance.

Placing your hands on a freezing cold steering wheel is one of the most uncomfortable sensations. More than that, the cold can cause lasting finger aches and stiffness. Which, in turn, can make driving even more difficult. A remote car starter allows you to protect your fingers by turning up the heat before you have to drive.

  1. You can cool your car in advance.

Similarly, having to put your hands a burning hot steering wheel is also not a very enjoyable feeling. With a remote car starter, you can turn on your car and get it cooling before you even take a seat.

  1. You don’t have to fumble for keys in bad weather.

How many times have you been caught outside your car in a heat wave or a snow storm while you search for your keys? Probably too many to count. It’s so common, that most people don’t even realize there’s an easy solution. Car starters allow you to unlock your car and get the car going from a distance. Which practically means, you don’t have to stand outside trying to get your car unlocked.

  1. You can defrost your windows without manual labor.

When it’s cold and snowy out, the last thing you want to have to do is manually brush and scrape your windshields. Especially, if you’re in a morning rush. With a remote starter, the car’s heating does the work for you, so you can avoid the manual labor.

  1. You can locate your car easily.

When you’re struggling to find your car in a large parking lot or big crowd, a car remote can help you easily. Just press the sound button, and listen closely. You’ll find your car in no time.

  1. You can track where your car goes.

This is a great security measure for your car. In the unfortunate event that your car is stolen, a remote car starter with a built-in GPS will allow you to track your car. This means, that you can alert the police to exactly where the thieves have taken your car, so you can get your property back in no time.

  1. You can better care for your engine.

It’s widely known that cranking up the AC or heat moments after the car has been turned on is not great for the car’s engine. Remote car starters let you take better care of your engine when you use them to preheat or precool your car. This way your engine has time to warm up in advance.

5 Questions to Ask When Choosing a Window Tint Installer

5 Questions to Ask When Choosing a Window Tint Installer

Questions help us understand the world around us.

Or, more exactly, the answers to those questions help us understand.

Unfortunately, coming up with the right questions, or any questions at all, can be somewhat of a challenge. Especially, if you’re at a total loss for information.

But not to worry.

Here are 5 questions to ask when choosing a car window installer.

Don’t be shy and ask before you buy your tints!

  1. What percentage is allowed in my state?

If you know the answer already, this is a great way to test the installer on basic knowledge.

If you don’t know, this is a great way to check whether the installer doesn’t either.

You want an installer that is knowledgeable about the field of window tints. Because, you want someone who can advise you and offer the best options.

Not to mention, keep you straight within the law.

  1. What materials do you use for your tint?

The answer better be “high quality” before you agree to buy anything from the installer.

Aside from that, it’s important to know what materials the window tints are actually made of. Typically, the higher quality tints are made from a thin ceramic film.

There are tons of tint manufacturers out there. Some good, and some not as good. So, ask what brand the installer uses and look up reviews online.

  1. How much do you charge per tint?

Or: How much do you charge per set of tints?

If we’re being real- price is important. And, it makes a big impact in our decision to choose one tint over the other, or one tint installer over another.

It’s a good idea to set a budget for yourself in advance. Ask yourself, what’s the highest you’re willing to spend? Then set the bar a little lower. When talking face to face with salesmen, it’s easy to get influenced. But, if you set your high price just a tad lower, you’re giving yourself wiggle room just in case you fold under pressure.

This way, even if you go over budget- you’re still right on track.

And don’t forget to haggle!

  1. What if my tints break?

What this question is essentially saying in the nicest of terms is “what are you going to do for me if my tints break. And, are you going to take responsibility?”

No matter how high-quality something is, there’s always the chance that it might break.

After all, accidents happen.

And when that accident happens, you want to be sure that your tint installer is going to help.

A responsible tint installer will offer some type of warranty for their tints or tint installation.

  1. What technology do you use to cut and install?

There’s no use in picking a top-quality window tint just to have it installed incorrectly.

Even if there is a warranty.

Ask about what technology the installer uses to cut the tints precisely to your windows. How can the tint installer guarantee accuracy? Then ask about the installer’s method for adhering the tint film to the inside of your window.

A good installation job can truly make or break the whole window tint experience.

How Window Tints Can Protect You From UV Rays

How Window Tints Can Protect You from UV Rays

Before we get started with blocking and preventing UV rays from harming us, let’s go through why they are bad to begin with.

What’s really so bad about UV rays?

“UV” is an abbreviation for ultraviolet light. As the sun sends down its miraculous rays of light that let us see where we’re going and give us our daily percentages of vitamin D, it also sends down ultraviolet light rays.

UV rays are invisible to the naked eye, being smaller than visible light rays and they pack a powerful punch. Because, they are actually a form of radiation.

And as we know from the atom bomb, radiation is not a good thing.  Obviously, the sun’s radiation that hits us is not as strong as a bomb, but it still does its own measure of damage. Over long periods of exposure, UV rays can severely harm our skin, causing skin damage, skin cancer, and more.

The worst part is, we don’t see the damage until it’s too late.

How can window tints protect you from harmful UV rays?

Luckily, there are ways to prevent skin damage from UV radiation.

The first preventative measure is to wear sun screen. Rain or shine, sunscreen can be a life saver. Literally.

But if you’re someone who spends hours in the car each day, you may want a little more protection than just sunscreen. Because, full disclosure, UV radiation can go through clear glass. Even safety glass.

Car window tints can protect from up to 99% of UV rays.

Even if you’re someone who wears sunscreen 24/7, it can never hurt to have a little extra protection. And, if you’re someone who never wears sunscreen or often forgets to put it on- getting window tints installed in your car is definitely a good safety precaution.

Are window tints a good solution for skin protection?

Yes!

Window tints are an easy and efficient way to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful UV light rays.

First of all, car window tints are affordable. Finding low cost window tints is an easy feat. And, many window tint installers offer cheaper deals if you just ask.

Second, window tints are a quick solution.  Choose your installer, choose your tint, and then you’re good to go. It doesn’t take long to get window tints installed, and it doesn’t take long for them to dry and cure.

As opposed to sunscreen which you have to remember to put on every single day, multiple times a day- window tints are a one-time ordeal. Once you get them installed, you never have to think twice about them.

Your new tints will always be there, right beside you, protecting you from non-visible radiation.

Where to buy window tints that block out UV rays?

You owe it to yourself to take care of your health and safety.

For that reason, it’s important to choose a high-quality tint AND a professional, responsible tint installer.

Here at Car Pretty Window Tinting, we offer guidance and advice so you can find the best tint for you. And we don’t stop there. Once you’ve chosen the perfect tint, we use our top of the line technology to precisely measure, cut, and install your window tints.

Why?

Because the safety of our customers truly matters to us.

Car Tips for Spring - Philadelphia, PA

Can you tell that spring is in the air?  The sun is shining more, the flowers are in bloom, and there’s more cars out on the road.  If you’re a vehicle owner looking for a few quick tips that will get your car ready for spring, then read on.  At Car Pretty of Philadelphia, we take pride in offering our customers a wide range of car-care products to keep their vehicles road-worthy and sharp.  It’s never too late to get your car ready for the spring.

One of the best tips to follow is related to washing and waxing.  A thorough wash and wax is one of the most important ways to keep your car looking great.  Winter months can wreak havoc on a car, especially because of all the salt that gets dumped on the roads when snow falls.  It’s important to make sure that all of the debris, especially the salt, is removed from your vehicle when spring arrives.  Allowing grime to accumulate on the exterior of your car can really take a tool on your car’s finish.  Make spring the perfect season to give your car a treat with a much-needed wash and wax.

We know that the exterior of your vehicle is important, but what about the inside?  Nobody wants to drive around on a warm spring day with empty water bottles and dirty food wrappers that have accumulated from the winter season.  It’s easy to let your car’s interior take a beating during the winter months because the cold temperatures make it less appealing to get out there and do a thorough cleaning.  At Car Pretty we can help you get some new spring accessories for your vehicle, and even give you a few pointers on how to get the inside as sparkly as the outside.  Give your car’s interior a good vacuum and notice the immediate difference in both feel and appearance.

Spring weather is also prefect for checking your tire pressure.  Cooler air in the winter means that your car’s tire pressure has probably decreased.  As the air gets warmer with spring, however, the pressure can actually increase.  It’s important to keep a check on your particular car’s manufacturer specification for tire pressure.  If you aren’t sure how to do this, or if you just feel more comfortable consulting with an expert, stop in to Car Pretty and we can take a look for you, instead.

How do your wiper blades look?  Sometimes it’s hard to tell if they need to be preplaced, but taking a proactive stance is the best measure.  Cold, harsh winters can lead to cracked. Worn wiper blades, so it’s important to give them a good check and make sure that they are still functional enough for your car.  We all know that April showers bring May flowers, so it’s best to be prepared for all that rain with some tip-top wiper blades.

Benefits of Window Tint - Philadelphia Window Tinting

If you’ve spent any time on the road, then you’ve likely seen a car with window tint.  Some people think that window tint is used for aesthetic purposes only, but the truth is that there are many benefits to window tint.  At Car Pretty of Philadelphia, we help people choose the right tinting for their particular vehicle, and we spend time discussing each of the possible benefits, as well.  If you’ve been thinking about having your windows tinted but haven’t been sure where to start, stop in to Car Pretty and let us help you make a choice that’s right for your car.

When it comes to window tint, there is more than just one benefit.  For one, window tint helps control the interior climate of your car.  With a tinted vehicle, you don’t have to worry about the sweltering summer sun.  Window tint helps keep the inside of your car cool on those hot summer days. What’s more, window tint even helps to protect the upholstery of your car, as well.  The sun’s penetrating rays can wreak havoc on the inside of a vehicle, but window tinting is an excellent deterrent to these rays.

In the cooler winter months, window tinting can be a benefit, as well.  The tinting helps to keep the inside of your car warmer because it serves as a sort of insulator.  Not everybody knows that window tinting has so many uses, but a little bit of research will prove that it has more than one positive benefit.  At Car Pretty of Philadelphia, we help our customers choose the best window tinting materials for their individual needs and then we create a project that is designed for their specific vehicle.  Our skilled technicians are always available to help answer any questions and to help clear up any concerns.

At Car Pretty, we know that you want to drive away in a car that feels both comfortable and clean.  We spend our time completing every window tint job so that it meets our customer’s satisfaction. When it comes to delivering a quality window tinting job, the technicians at Car Pretty can’t be beat.  We do whatever we can to ensure that each one of our customers is fully satisfied with the window tinting that we complete.  If you have questions about the process we can help you out, and if you want to visit our shop and take a look at some of the previous installations we’ve completed we’re open to that, too.

Car window dots - Frits Revealed

Are you a vehicle owner who spends a lot of time on the road?  If so, you’ve probably noticed a rather interesting pattern along the edge of your driver’s windshield.  If you looked closely enough, you probably noticed what appeared to be a line of black dots.  Ever wondered what these black dots really are and what purpose they serve?  If so, then you’re like hundreds of other car owners who asked their mechanics at one service check or another.  Believe it or not, these little dots are called frit, and they aren’t too mysterious after you understand the purpose they serve.

Modern vehicles have a host of interesting and complex components.  To the untrained eye, some of these vehicle components are perplexing, but with a little knowledge and understanding, you’ll come to find that each piece serves a unique purpose.  At Car Pretty, we can help you demystify some of the lesser known aspect of car components.  The windshield, as it were, is one of the most underrated parts of your vehicle’s makeup.  Yet this massive hunk of glass is paramount to the car’s overall functioning, and is actually a wonder of modern engineering.

The way that a windshield is bonded to the frame is crucial to how it performs.  A car owner might not realize this just by looking at a windshield, but it’s interesting to note that it does, in fact, play a major role in your vehicle’s performance.  The little black dots mentioned earlier, known as frit, run along the windshield’s periphery and look essentially like black enamel that has been fused right into the glass.
Frit serves a unique purpose, and the next time you look at your windshield you can pay closer attention to see what it does.  Frit basically provides an etched background surface so that the adhesive in the windshield can bond effectively to the glass.  When a car installation technician installs a windshield, the glass bonds to the car as a meeting point within the frame and the glass.  Not only that, the outside section of the frit works as a barrier against UV radiation.  This basically protects the bond from any kind of sun damage.

At Car Pretty of Philadelphia, we can help explain many unique aspects of car components.  We serve the Philadelphia and surrounding area and are always ready to assist with your car questions, even if they’re as complicated as those related to frit.  For aesthetic purposes, the frit conceals adhesive on the windshield and helps to create a polished appearance.  Frit also provides car owners with a certain degree of sun protection, as well.

When is a Good Season for Window Tint?

When it comes to window tinting, there are many pieces of information worth repeating.  For one, many people are under the misconception that window tinting is just for aesthetic purposes.  While it’s true that a tinted vehicle does have a certain appeal, window tinting has benefits that go far beyond just appearance.  At Car Pretty of Philadelphia we know that you want to have a vehicle that looks good and feels safe.  Our custom window tinting projects can help you achieve both of these requirements.

One of the major misconceptions about window tinting is that you can only get your vehicle tinted in the summer months when it is hot.  While it’s true that having a vehicle tinted during the summer will definitely cut down on the raising temperatures inside your vehicle, warmer months are not the only opportune times for tinting.  What many people don’t know is that window tinting in the winter months can have just as many advantages and window tinting in the summer months.

Window is quickly approaching and many vehicle owners want to know how window tinting can work to their benefit.  For one, window tinting your vehicle during the winter months can help reduce heat loss by aiding in the amount of time it takes to warm up your vehicle and by helping the inside of your vehicle stay warmer for longer stretches of time.  With information like this, you’ll be off and running in a more comfortable in no time.

Another interesting tidbit of information is that window tinting significantly reduces fading due to sun exposure.  Even during the colder months, the sun still retains its ability to penetrate windows and can lead to unnecessary upholstery fading as well as unnecessary cracking in plastic components.  An easy way to remember the way that window tint works is:  retain heat in winter and reduce heat in summer.  What’s more, window tinting can also help reduce the amount of sun exposure that reaches your skin, during both summer and winter months, alike.

Window tinting technology has also evolved quite a bit over the years.  Because of the advances in applications and materials, you’re now guaranteed a much higher quality product for your personal vehicle.  At Car Pretty, we know that you deserve the best for your vehicle, so we use only the top-rated lines for all of our window tinting projects.

Benefits of Window Tinting for Company Vehicles

If you happen to be a small business owner, then you know the value in owning a vehicle that is both safe and appealing.  At Car Pretty of Philadelphia, we know first-hand the importance of a clean and comfortable ride.  Whether it’s for personal use or for large-scale business purposes, window tinting is one of the most time-tested options for creating a new look on a vehicle. A window-tinted vehicle is one that offers both protection and intrigue.

For those looking to modify the look of their company vehicles, window tinting is a cost-effective and simplistic option.  For one, you can always count on a tinted vehicle to offer climate control on both hot summer nights and cold winter mornings.  Because window tint works as a reflector, the sun’s rays will not have the potential to cause nearly as much damage as they would on an un-tinted vehicle.  What’s more, window tinted vehicles will remain cooler in the summer months and warmer in the winter months.

At Car Pretty of Philadelphia, our expert technicians work hard to deliver a quality product.  We use only the top-rated window film on all of our custom installations, and we make sure that you are completely satisfied with whatever work we complete at our shop.  If you are new to window tinting, then one of our crew members will take the time to explain how window film works, what the cost of a professional installation will run, and what you can expect in terms of maintenance.

One of the greatest aspects of window tinting for company vehicles is the fact that your employees will be more comfortable on the road.  What better way to improve your business than to ensure that your employees are feeling comfortable and protected?  There’s nothing worse than spending a grueling day on the road, in unbearable summer heat, battling the discomfort and irritability from sun glare and heat.

With a custom window tinting job on all of your company vehicle, you’ll eliminate the discomfort that would otherwise cramp your driving style.  At Car Pretty, we can help you decide on the best window tinting project for all of your company needs.  Our dedicated crew is ready to assist, and prepared to impress.  The next time you need a customized window tint job completed on your company vehicles, visit Car Pretty and find out why we’re the leaders in the industry.

If you are a small business owner or someone contemplating opening a business in the future, then you might have a lot of ideas about how to get organized.  One of the major components to getting a business rolling is related to both practical and aesthetic aspects of your business.  If you are new to the concept of window tinting, then you might not be familiar with its many benefits.  What some people don’t realize about window tinting is that it isn’t just practical for the summer months.  When it comes down to it, any season of the year is a good one for window tinting.

Some people are under the misconception that window tinting is only necessary during the summer months.  While it’s true that a professional window tint job in the summer is both practical and convenient, it’s also true that a window tinting job completed in both the autumn and the winter months can have just as many, if not more, benefits.  In many parts of the country, especially places like Colorado and Arizona, the sun still shines bright even in the middle of the winter.  Even though the air might be colder, it doesn’t mean that the sun is less bright.

Window tinting helps protect both your skin and your belongings any time of the year.  Regardless of the season, a professional window tinting job helps protect from the sun’s damaging UV rays.  While heat might be reduced in the autumn and winter months, UV rays still have the potential to fade upholstery and damage skin, as well.  Some people aren’t aware of the fact that when snow is on the ground it reflects the sun’s UV rays.  This increases exposure and has the potential to cause long-term harm.

Another reason why window tinting is a great idea for any time of the year is because a professional tint job reduces sun glare.  Especially in areas of the country that receive a lot of snowfall, sun glare can pose potentially unsafe conditions.  Fresh snowfall intensifies sun glare because the reflection rate is higher than when there is no snow on the ground at all.  At Car Pretty, we know how important it is for you to keep your family and your belongings safe.  We are proud to offer custom window tint jobs that will enhance your comfort and protect both your family and your possessions.

A custom window tint job also cuts down on the cost of heating during the cooler months.  A custom window tinting job completed by the professionals at Car Pretty is sure to help reduce your heating costs during the autumn and winter months.  What’s more, it will also help regulate the temperature during the hot summer months, as well, resulting in lower air conditioning costs.  Window tint is both practical and pleasing for any season of the year.
